Aussie Maid In America is a feature film made in 1990. It starred Alice Springs, Kelly Blue, Aja, Marc Wallice, & Don Fernando.
Plot Summary
Alice Springs is an Australian who takes a job working as a maid in an American mansion, and having to contend with the sexual triangles occuring in the mansion.
The movie begins with Don Fernando, as the man of the house, somewhat drunk after celebrating the settling of the "Japanese account", meeting with Kim Kane, who is pumping some iron. She doesn't partake in his drinking, and while she is disapproving, she is a willing participant in a carnal encounter.
Meanwhile, Alice Springs is watching television with her boyfriend, Cal Jammer. After a short, teasing ditty regarding the remote control to the TV, they have a steamy encounter on the couch, after which they declare their love for each other.
An undetermined time later, Alice Springs is at work, and getting some dressing down for her poor performance at cleaning by the madame of the house, when Aja, with a broad southern accent, arrives at the mansion. Meanwhile, Cal Jammer is introduced to Alice's sister, Kelly Blue, who explains she has also taken a job in the US (as she blows Cal), and they go on to have a torrid encounter.
At work, Alice is trying on a fur coat in Aja's room, when Aja comes home. Far from being angry, Aja suggests that Alice should take her clothes off if she wants to get the real feeling of fur, and in the hallmark scene of the film, they have a hot encounter, eating each other's pussies lying on top of the coat. Afterwards, Aja gives the coat to Alice to commemorate their time together.
Later, Marc Wallice's attempt to seduce Aja is thwarted by the madame, who suggests that he should get a callgirl. He does this, and by chance, he gets Kelly Blue, with the job she has taken in the US now apparent. Wallice tells her he has had fantasies about fucking this hot Australian maid where he is staying, to which Kelly tells him her sister is working as a maid, but neither make the connection regarding the relationship, and they end up having a hot scene together.
Strengths & Weaknesses
While Aussie Maid In America is a movie that holds few surprises in terms of it's sex scenes, although the two scenes with Alice Springs provide a refreshing change of pace. Arguably one of the best "girl-next-door" types to grace the screens in the 1990s, Alice Springs' cheery disposition makes her a highly likeable character, not only in this film, but as an actor overall. The best of these two scenes is that of Alice Springs performing her lesbian encounter with Aja, where the enthusiasm of both girls is makes for a memorable encounter.
However, given it's title name, the plot of the adventures of an Australian made working in an American mansion is not strongly explored, and the story itself is somewhat incoherent in parts. Indeed, one could argue that the rather weak plotline could have benefited from concentrating more on the central character, played by Alice Springs. When examining the plot, the initial scene between Don Fernando & Kim Kane seems redundant, and should possibly have been deleted entirely, while the plot fails to capitalize on a potential scene between Don Fernando & Alice Springs, where his attempts to try to seduce her fail. The billing of Don Fernando is lost on this film, and the viewer may feel that the more high-energy performer, Marc Wallice, should have played this role, with more scenes cast for the character.
Similarly, the other wildcard in the movie, Aja, is to a degree not utilized sufficiently in this production, despite appearing as a livewire character in the film.
In the final analysis, Aussie Maid In America is likely to appeal more to the true fans of fans of adult film from this period, and with those viewers the non-violent erotica style that was prevalent during the period.
