Girls Of The A Team is an adult film that was made in 1985, as a adult film semi-satirical of the popular 1980s TV show, The "A Team" - in this case the "A" referring to anal.
Despite it's low budget, Girls Of The A Team had an awesome cast of stars that are mainstays of the 1980s porn industry, and a variety of hardcore scenes (feauturing lesbian & anal scenes, including wild gang bang scenes), which has made this quintessential 1980s adult film a classic amongst a core group of fans.
The acting was semi-comical, and many of the quotes (particularly Harry Reems' quote "Zanos - You're The Best !" & Mr P's "Here Comes Mr P !") are considered legendary amongst those people who have seen the film.
Plot Summary
Zanos (played by Ron Jeremy) is a Greek ambassador visiting the United States, with a strong penchant for performing anal sex, but who is having sex when the girl he's fucking (played by hot starlet, Tamara Longley) won't let him perform anal. Frustrated, he rings Steven, his US liaison (played by Peter North), who suggests he should contact the A Team, who he describes as "masters in the art of anal penetration".
The A Team soon arrive at Zanos' villa in a van (similar to that used by The A Team in the TV show). Led by Mr P (played by F.M. Bradley), the members of the A Team (including Tom Byron, Marc Wallice, and girls including Cheri Janvier(credited as Mon Cheri Janvier), Jennifer Noxt, Sahara, and Ami Rogers).
Soon, Harry Reems, visits Zanos, and is introduced to Mr P, who arranges member of the A Team, Ami Rogers, who teasingly asks "Well Mr Reems - are you going to ream me out ?"
Several anal orgies take place, while Sahara is made ready for Zanos, which an illustration of a cat painted on her ass, with Sahara's asshole being portrayed as the cat's mouth. While Zanos' wife arrives, and joins in a gang-bang led by Mr P, Zanos finally gets some anal as he plunders Sahara's ass. At one stage, Zanos has to be rescued by Mr P by being pulled free of Sahara's ass. Zanos interrupts Mr P's threesome in the process, and yells "Mr P, Mr P - I'm stuck, I'm stuck", but is wrenched clear of Sahara's ass. After climaxing, Zanos speaks directly to the cat painted on Sahara's ass, saying "Cat - you give great head".
The queen of Greece arrives, and a huge anal orgy ensues. While the queens polishes Mr P's huge cock, Zanos enjoys anal with Jennifer Noxt. Mr P finally gets to shoot his load after taking the anal position in a double penetration of Cheri Janvier. After the other participants of the orgy climax, the film finishes with a very-content Zanos and friends toasting the members of the A team.

Strength & Weaknesses
The strength of the film is that the dialogue between scenes is brief, as well as entertaining. Furthermore, for a relatively short run time, the scenes are frequent, and scenes often switch between each other in the same timeline. Unlike many films where the acting is wooden, and the sex scenes seem forced, in the case of The Girls Of The A Team, the viewer gets the feeling that the players seemed to enjoy making the production.
The dialogue of the film is amusing in it's own right, and with both genders, the cast is an excellent representation of 1980s talent. Of particular note is the performance of the stunning Tamara Longley, who, after her dismissal in the opening scene by Zanos for not performing anal, takes part in several sizzling scenes, including losing her anal virginity in a lesbian encounter with Cheri Janvier, being DP'd by Tom Byron & Mr P, and performing in the final orgy scene.
The performance of DP queen Cheri Janvier is probably her best in the industry, and Ami Rogers similarly impresses with a strong performance.
In the male roles, F.M. Bradley is clearly the stand-out performer as Mr P, as much for being a comic relief as with his sex scenes, and Ron Jeremy plays the role of Zanos perfectly, but the movie features some of the best 1980s male talent in the business. Peter North, Marc Wallice, Tom Byron, all featuring in the early stages of their careers, are complimented by the veteran performer, Harry Reems.

To date, Girls Of The A Team has not been released on DVD, and the VHS/BETA video tape formats were discontinued at some point in the 1980s. At the time of writing this article, the movie is only likely to be obtained as a downloaded movie file or rare cases where the video tape may be found. It is unknown who currently holds the movie rights to Girls Of The A Team, as the production company, Western Visuals, are now bankrupt, having only released a small amount of their titles, the most well-known of which was The Girls From Cell Block F.
